How often should I groom my dog / cat?

On average, your dog or cat should be groomed every 6-8 weeks depending on breed and coat type. Regular grooming is highly recommended to maintain your pet’s skin and coat at optimal health.

How long would it take to groom my dog / cat?

We ask for a 1-3 hour drop off. Timing depends on the condition of the pet’s coat, behavior, size, and the intensity of the work load of the salon.

How can I make an appointment?

Appointments can be made on the booking website click here .

What if my pet just needs a nail trim, anal gland expression, teeth brushing, etc?

Nail trimming can be booked online. Please email for all other small services: ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and anal glands expression. (We may not be able to schedule these services if pet requires medical attention).

What if my dog / cat cannot tolerate the hand blow drier?

We have kennels for dogs and cats who are more comfortable with a quiet, room temperature fan.

My dog / cat is very matted. Can you dematt my pet?

We do not dematt severely matted dogs and cats. Dematting will cause trauma to the pet and increase the chances of an accident. Please consult with us to avoid your pet from matting.

What is required to get my dog / cat groomed?

All dogs and cats must be vaccinated against rabies in accordance with the vaccine manufacturer’s recommendations.

How old does my puppy need to be to be groomed?

All puppies and kittens must be up to date on all vaccinations including Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Bordetella, Giardia and Rabies. All stitches after spaying and neutering must be completely removed/dissolved prior to the appointment. It is best to have your pet start at 4 months to get used to the grooming procedure. Please allow us extra time to train and work with your puppy / kitten to get familiar to grooming.

What if my pet is very anxious / aggressive?

We always try our very best to work with and make any additional accommodations for your pet. If your pet is too difficult to handle, we may refuse service.
Examples:
1) Large dog constantly attempting to escape kennel, tub, table, shop, etc. These dogs can hurt themselves and damage store equipment and property.
2) Very aggressive dog/cat to staff and other animals.
3) Very loud and continuous barking. We try our absolute best to keep anxious pets as calm as possible; however, loud barking will make other pets very nervous during their stay. In addition, we must respect the neighboring businesses.
4) Senior pets >14 years of age.

Thank you for your understanding and we appreciate your support in our small shop.
